Group / Team Lessons

I will come out and work with your team at practice. Session content can be determined beforehand. They can include power skating, skill development, positional play, addressing coaches areas of concern and more.
Can also come out to team practice and work with small groups, such as specific defense skills, or any area coach desires.

I offer off ice DRY LAND training to teams using the equipment I use in my personal dry land sessions.

Before working with Dave, my son Nathan was one of the weakest players on his house league team, struggled with his skating and lacked passion for the game. After working with Dave over the last few months, Nathan has become a strong player at the travel level and displays proficiency in all areas of the game. Dave's leveled, even tempered approach and expertise in fundamental skill development not only improved Nathan's skills but also his confidence and love of the game. The on ice clinics and off ice training are challenging and intense but also fun. I never dreamed Nathan would love practicing as much as games. Thanks, Dave!

Chris Van de Laar

Dave and I played four years Division 1 College Hockey together, and played against each other in the NHL, AHL and in Europe. Dave was always a great communicator and team player, and I know this translates well into what he now teaches on the ice. He is able to not just talk about the mechanics of skating and drills, but also demonstrate them properly and help skaters make corrections.

Steve Kariya, Former NHL/AHL and European Elite Hockey Player

I have known David for many years. He was captain of our team at University of Maine during my freshman year, and he helped lead our team to the National Championship. I also played again Dave in the AHL, and then again as a teammate in Rochester of the AHL for three years. I know Dave as a great friend, but also as a great leader, hockey player and dad. I know that Dave’s leadership abilities and his own hockey experiences translate well into the clinics and skates he now runs himself. I’d definitely recommend Dave to anyone looking to improve their hockey skills and learn the game from someone who has competed at every level.
